Cook Thao? Where did that name come from? It’s easy, silly. The cooks name is Thao (เต๋า in Thai) and he’s good! That’s why his name is on our restaurant. Thao trained in several fine restaurants in Bangkok. His food is fresh every day, his tastes are superb and his presentation is definitely not street fare.  Thao not only serves the best of all the traditional Thai dishes – with his special touches – he also makes some great Burmese and Chinese dishes too.

So when you find yourself in Tachileik – even for a few hours – and you want a great meal in relaxed quiet setting, meet some new people, have some fun – please visit our restaurant.
